Familiarize yourself with major routes out of your neighborhood in case of a evacuation.


This is a map of Sacramento County evacuation zone number 11, called Rio Linda and Garden Highway.  It is in the northwest region of the county and is bordered by the Sacramento River to the west, the Sacramento and Sutter County border to the north, Watt Ave to the east, and Elkhorn Boulevard to the south.  The far west side of the zone extends south to Interstate 80 and west of Interstate 5.  Significant landmarks within this zone are the Sacramento International Airport and Gibson Ranch Regional Park.  There are train tracks running north and south through the middle of the zone and local bus routes in the southwest portion of the zone.  Major east and west evacuation routes are Interstate 5, Elverta Road, and Elkhorn Boulevard.  North and south evacuation routes are Highway 99, Interstate 5, Rio Linda Boulevard, and Watt Avenue.
